Code of Conduct
Overview
This Code of Conduct applies to all Members of the Union Front, who becoming a Member, are bound by the policies set forth in this document and bound by the Bylaws of the Union Front.
Every Member is a Representative of the Union Front to the broader polity and to the world. The Union Front’s positions and goals are defined by the Platform and officially approved statements by the Front.
The Union Front’s Vision
We are dedicated to the political and cultural transformation of the United States, to undo the years of environmental degradation, cultural decay, and corporate consolidation. To achieve this vision, we must look beyond what is commonly seen as the only options for the American voter, beyond “left” and “right.” In our pursuit, we envision a greater future than what is promised to us by our current oppressors, a future of poetry, patriotism, economic liberation, and democracy.
Inclusiveness
The soul of America is reliant on diversity and inclusivity. The Front upholds the American spirit, standing against the discrimination so prevalent in postmodernity.
Union Front members and organizations may not exclude people from participating in meetings on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, social and economic class, educational level, color, sex, age, size, family status, religion, or mental or physical ability.
Patriotism
As a patriotic organization, the Union Front expects its members to show patriotic enthusiasm and respect the United States of America. Members are also expected to uphold the Union Front's symbolic honor.
All within the movement will commit themselves fully to the fight for a better United States; desecration of national symbols and party property is forbidden.
Obedience
The Union Front's cohesion and structure depend on the members' ability and willingness to cooperate with the staff and leadership. This cooperation should extend to other members of the Front, showing them respect and kindness.
Internal Conduct
The internal conduct of members should be carried out with respect, avoiding unnecessary and/or unwarranted cruelty, rudeness, and other conduct unbecoming of a member of the Union Front.
Sexual remarks, uncomfortable behavior, inappropriate gestures, and other behavior that can be considered sexual harassment are strictly forbidden and will result in the revocation of membership.
External Conduct
Members are expected to hold themselves to a higher standard. They are representatives and ambassadors to the world on behalf of the Front.
Members of the Union Front must conduct themselves with restraint and respect for political opposition; ultimately, we are all Americans. Harassment is forbidden.
Members are forbidden from disclosing internal disagreements and publicly slandering the movement itself outside of constructive criticism.
Members running for any position must fully disclose any personal history that would harm the party's reputation and character.
